iPhone X from iPhone 7: What you must know?

Bought a iPhone X through Singtel. Must say I’m one of those lucky ones who managed to get it earlier. Didn’t queue at all.
Collected the iPhone X through POPStation. However, the transition from an older iPhone user didn’t seems to be as smooth as before.

Your iOS might be newer due to a recent security patch. This will also mean that you can’t do the usual restore from backup on your new iPhone X.

What to Do?

1. On your iPhone X: Select ‘Setup as a new iPhone’. Update the iOS on your iPhone X to latest.
2. Restore from iTunes or iCloud backup

Shutdown
Press & Hold (Together): Power button + Volume Down button

Apple Watch users
Just put your watch near to your new iPhone X when setting up. If it doesn’t work, refer to Switch your Apple Watch to a new iPhone
